Each speedring comes with a solid aluminum softbox collar. The collar mounts to your light with a mounting flange, custom for your specific brand of light. When using square or rectangular softboxes, rotating the box offers additional control. However, not all brands of flash allow for a rotation from the head. Luckily, all CL Speedrings offer 360 degree of rotation so regardless of which softbox you are using or what brand of flash you are using, full control is possible.

Rods on all CL Softboxes are color coded to make assembly simple. Just match the color with the appropriate color-coded hole on the CL Speedring. Whether you are using a square, octagonal or rectangular softbox, set up couldn't be easier.

The Creative Light Speedrings was recently redesigned and improved. The new versions are smaller and about 25% lighter than their predecessors. The reduction in size and weight will make the speedrings easier to transport and set up, with the same great stability as the predecessor.

In addition, the color codes for the attachment of the different rods are now printed directly on the speedring, and the integrated 3/8’’ threads allow the user to mount the rings directly on a lightstand or swivel head.
